Hi Parents, 

 

Welcome to the 2024 Fall Lacrosse Registration.  If you joined us for the spring, we hope you enjoyed the season, and we look forward to seeing you again.  If you are a new player, we welcome you to the Frisco Lacrosse family!  We look forward to a season of fun and competitive play!

 

Fall practices will begin the week of August 26th and will be held at B.F. Phillips Park.  Tentative practice days/times are the following:

K/2 Team - Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 - 7:00pm

3/4 Team - Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 - 7:30pm

5/6 & 7/8 Teams - Monday & Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30pm

 

We are targeting 4 regular season games, plus 2 tournaments (Lax for Life - Oct 19-20 & Turlaxin - Dates TBD).  More details to come on this as plans evolve.  We will host a parent meeting at the start of the season to provide an opportunity to meet the Coaches, the Board, and learn about player expectations and season details.

 

Uniforms:   We are excited to announce that we're updating the Frisco Lacrosse uniforms!  We are currently in the design process with a new vendor.  Please note that uniform costs are not included in the registration fees.  We will send out a link for you to purchase a new uniform directly with the vendor.  Look for more information on this soon.

 

Equipment: All players are required to have a stick, helmet (no club team/select helmets - white helmet preferred if you are purchasing a new one), chest protector, elbow pads, gloves and mouthguard.  An athletic cup is recommended.  If anyone plans to purchase a new chest protector, please know that field players must wear protectors for Commotio Cordis (shoulder pads) that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard and contain an SEI certification mark.  (To learn more about Commotio Cordis injuries and NOCSAE Standard ND200 go to www.uslacrosse.org/commotio.)
 

Exciting news!  We are establishing a FLA Youth Steering Committee to provide leadership, guidance, and support for the development and growth of the FLA Youth Lacrosse Program.  Please indicate your interest in the volunteer section of registration.  The committee will meet monthly, with additional meetings as needed during the season.  We are so grateful for our volunteers!

K-2nd - $225

3rd/4th - $275

5th/6th - $350

7th/8th - $350
