Frisco Lacrosse Association

2023 Spring K-8th Grade Registration

Welcome

Welcome Lacrosse Families to the 2023 Spring Season!

Hi Parents,

Welcome to the 2023 Fall Lacrosse Registration.  If you joined us for the fall, we hope you enjoyed the season, and we look forward to seeing you again.  If you are a new player, we welcome you to the Frisco Lacrosse family!  We look forward to a season of fun and competitive play!

Our spring lacrosse season starts early!  Games are scheduled to begin February 11th.  We are in the process of finalizing our practice schedules.  Fields may be limited prior to the first few games as the city has restrictions on field usage in January.  More details to come on this as plans evolve.  We will host a parent meeting at the start of the season to provide an opportunity to meet the Coaches, the Board, and learn about player expectations and season details.

Uniforms:  All youth teams will be wearing the Blue & Grey uniforms purchased during the spring or fall season.  If you are a returning player and already have a uniform, you won't need to purchase anything.  If you are a new player (or a returning player that needs a new uniform), you will need to purchase one during this registration.

Equipment: All players are required to have a stick, helmet (no club team/select helmets - white helmet preferred if you are purchasing a new one), chest protector, elbow pads, gloves and mouthguard.  An athletic cup is recommended.  If anyone plans to purchase a new chest protector, please know that field players must wear protectors for Commotio Cordis (shoulder pads) that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard and contain an SEI certification mark.  (To learn more about Commotio Cordis injuries and NOCSAE Standard ND200 go to www.uslacrosse.org/commotio)

The Frisco lacrosse program is growing!  With more and more players joining each season, we need a larger volunteer crew to make our program work and grow.   Please join our volunteer group today and help make this an amazing program for our players!  Below are just a few positions we need to fill:

  • Youth Committee Members (communications, social media, special events, volunteer coordinator)
  • Website content & marketing coordinator
  • FISD PE Program Coordinator
  • Equipment & Storage Manager
  • Uniform & Roster Coordinator
  • Spiritwear Coordinator
  • Sponsorships/FLA Program Coordinator

If you are able to assist with these activities, please complete the Volunteer section during the registration process or email the board at friscolaxinfo@gmail.com.  We are so grateful for our volunteers!
